William Gallert

William E. Gallert, 86, of Omro Care Center, formerly of Pickett, died Friday, July 22, 1988, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
He was born July 26, 1901, at Center House, Green Lake County, to William and Bertha Moderow Gallert. On August 31, 1932, he married Hazel Anklam and she preceded him in death on December 17, 1972.
Mr. Gallert was a farmer in the Green Lake and Pickett area all of his life.
He is survived by two sons, Lawrence of Oshkosh and Donald of Bellevue, WA; one daughter, Mrs. Warren (Gloria) Bohn of Waukau; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence of Princeton and one sister, Erna Leitz of Ripon. He is preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 1988, at 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend James Thomson will officiate and interment will be in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm until the hour of services at the funeral home.
