William L. Jacobs, age 89, N6548 County M, Brandon, WI, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
He was born September 30, 1916, in West Allis, WI, a son to Henry and Lucy (Lyons) Jacobs. William was educated in Waupun schools. He worked at A.F.K. Foundry in Ripon for 47 years, and was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon.
He is survived by his cousins, Lucy (Norman) Lueck, Fox Lake, and Margaret (Harvey) Henke, Markesan; close friends, Henry (Kathy) Rivera and family, Parish (Kim) Baker and family, Russell (Theresa) Stumpner and family, and Jeff (Trina) Stanbery and family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
VISITATION for William L. Jacobs will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2006 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
FUNERAL SERVICE for William L. Jacobs will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. Gerald Schrankler officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Mound Cemetery, in the City of Waupun. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society, Midwest Division, 3311 S. Packerland Drive, DePere, WI. 54115.
