William C. Kintz, age 81, formerly of Ripon and San Pablo, CA, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Waupaca County.
He was born February 2, 1922, the son of Chester and Emma Anna (Zamzow) Kintz. Bill farmed before serving in the Army in Germany from 1945-1946. After the war he worked in construction in California. He was a member of Laborers Union, Local 326 of Suison, CA and lifetime member of the American Legion Post #43 of Ripon.
Survivors include 2 nieces, Constance Johnson of CA and Ann Long of WA; 4 nephews, Richard Fenner and Roger Fenner, both of Ripon, Wayne Fenner of Brandon, and Daniel Boelter of CA; many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in 1962; mother in 1969; 3 brothers, Arnold F. Boelter in 1965, Carl Kintz in 1944 and Chester Kintz, Jr. in 1936; and 2 sisters, Betty Fenner in 1974 and Ardell Kintz in 1991.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Auroraville. Memorials may be given to American Legion or Cancer Association in his name.
