William Louden, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh surrounded by his family.
William was born July 12, 1927, in Beloit, WI, the son of William and Mary (Goszinski) Louden. He served our country in the United States Army in WWII as a Technical Sergeant. In 1952, William married Evelyn Shurpit in Iowa. He worked as a machinist at Mercury Marine for 40 years. William was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon and American Legion Brown-Parfitt Post #43.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Jean; son, William Louden; two daughters, Lori (Randy) Rich and Lisa Louden all of Ripon, WI; eight grandchildren, Nicole Louden, Nichelle (Andrew) Major, Eric Louden and Dustin (Heather) Louden, Lindsy, Brittany and Kelsy Rich and Parker Louden; three great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Ava and Emerson and three sisters, Betty Walraven of California, Alice Wood of Ripon, WI and Doris Limbeek of Florida. William was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for William will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012, from 9 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial Mass for William will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon with Full Military Honors. Memorials may be directed to Wisconsin Parkinson Association, 945 N. 12th St. Suite 4602, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
