William Selchow

William Fredrick Selchow, 90, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on July 12, 1992, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
He was born October 18, 1901, in Posen, Germany to Gastave and Martha Rohde Selchow. On June 8, 1935, he married Marjorie Marie Krueger. Mr. Selchow was a caretaker and chauffeur for several Ripon and Green Lake families, and in later years was a custodian at the Green Lake High School. He was a member of The Federated Church of Green Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; three son, William Jr. of Green Lake, WI, Gene (Gerry) of Rockford and Dennis (Diane) of Ripon; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elsie Bridge of Appleton. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friend from 5 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at The Federated Church of Green Lake. The Reverend Kent A. Meyer will officiate and interment will follow in the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
