William Fredrick Washkoske, age 68, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
William was born February 18, 1888, in Ripon, WI, the son of Rudolph and Ernestine (Gehrke) Washkoske. He was educated in Ripon Public Schools. William married Sarah Cotter on November 12, 1912. He lived in Ripon all of his life and retired as a District Meterman for The Wisconsin Power and Light Company. William was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon and alderman of the third ward of Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah; two sons, Harry of Madison and Arthur of Pittsburg, PA; one daughter, Mrs. Donald D. Redman of Madison; five grandchildren; one brother, Herbert of Ripon and one sister, Mrs. Elmer Hoth of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 7, 1956, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for William will be held on Thursday, March 8, 1956, at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church with The Reverend John T. Cullen officiating. Interment will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
