William F. Wesner, age 80, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
William was born on December 30, 1906, in Waushara County, WI, the son of Fred and Tillie (Weise) Wesner. He was educated at Koro School. On October 7, 1943, he married Gertrude Laun. William worked as an electrician. He was on the Green Lake County Board for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; two daughters, Betty Jean (Charles) Lombardo of Rancho Coudona, CA and JoAnn (Wayne) Sisco of Avon Park, FL; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters, Ida Hoffman of Ripon, Lily Meyerholtz of Fremont and Clara Sunderland of Green Lake; seven brothers, Julius of Ripon, Reinhold (Whity) of Ripon, Herman of Berlin, Herbert of Ripon, Arnold of Oshkosh, Elmer of San Diego, CA and Leonard of Oshkosh. William was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and first wife, Eva Walker.
Visitation for William will be held on Friday, August 14, 1987, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for William will be held on Saturday, August 15, 1987, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Dwight Bastian officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
