William L. Wetzel, age 70, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 1984, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
William was born June 25, 1914, in Ripon, WI, the son of August and Ida (Lehman) Wetzel. He served our country in the United States Navy from 1941 to 1945. William married Kathryne Walker on August 24, 1940. He worked at Ripon Foods. William was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryne; two sons, Duane of Ripon, WI and Duran of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Diann (Stan) Latacha of Chicago, IL and Debra (Gordon) Steele of Appleton, WI; six grandchildren, two brothers, Marvin and Elton both of Ripon, WI and one sister, Myra Wetzel of Fond du Lac, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for William will be held on Monday, December 17, 1984, from 3 – 5:00 pm and 6 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 1984, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church with Reverend Dennis Weis officiating. Cremation will follow.
