Willis F. Sunderland, age 81, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 1992, at his residence.
He was born January 2, 1911, in Monmouth, IL to Fred and Bertha (Mark) Sunderland. He was educated in Monmouth and in 1945 he married Clara Wesner. Mr. Sunderland was a member of the United States Coast Guard. Until retiring 21 years ago and moving to Green Lake, Willis had been a civilian worker at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA. He was a member of the Green Lake Legion Post #306.
In addition to his wife Clara, he is survived by one son, Fred (Tina) Sunderland of Magalia, CA; one sister, Dorothy Lanphere of IL; and two grandchildren. His parents and one brother-in-law preceded him in death.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
