Wilton C. Alvin, 96, formerly of Green Lake, WI passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh, WI.
Wilton was born on December 8, 1910 the son of Adolf and Emma (Tetzlaff) Alvin in the Town of Wautoma. He attended school in Wautoma, and then moved with his parents to Green Lake, where he worked as a Carpenter and Contractor for the Alvin and Alvin Company for 50 years. On September 12, 1937 he married Wilma Mae Moore and they made their home in Green Lake. He was a member of Waukau United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons; Richard (JoAnne) Alvin of Sarona, WI, and Michael (Carol) Alvin of Waunakee, WI, two grandchildren; Patrick (Krista) and Christopher (Lori), two great-grandchildren; Zachary and Nicholas, a sister-in-law; Mabel Alvin of TX, as well as several nieces and nephews. Wilton was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wilma, and two brothers; Arnold and Ervin.
Visitation for Wilton C. Alvin will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Wilton C. Alvin will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 12:00PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with the Reverend Charles Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery in the City of Green Lake. A Memorial has been established.
