Zackary Page Muskavitch, age 21, of Ripon, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 due to injuries received after a fall from an ATV during a Halloween party with friends.
Zackary was born on September 26, 1986, at St. Agnes in Fond du Lac, the son of Michael and Sherry (Page) Muskavitch. He graduated from Ripon High School in 2005, and then attended Ripon College for a short time. Zackary excelled in football and received many honors as part of the State Champions of 2003 and First Team All Conference Center in 2004. He loved to play on Ingalls Field as part of Coach Gordie Gillespies Horses. Zackarys admiration of Coach Gordie was only exceeded by his love of the sport. When not playing football, Zackary enjoyed duck hunting with Dave, as well as deer hunting with his Dad, Seth, and his cousins. He currently worked as a Semi and Dump Truck Driver for Page Trucking and Page Farms, which showed his passion for farm life.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Sherry, and his brother, Seth Muskavitch all of Ripon. Also surviving are aunts; Margie Douglas of Combined Locks, and Debbie (Andy) Zeratsky of Green Lake, uncles; Patrick Muskavitch of Green Bay, Gary (Jane) Page, Jay (Kay) Page, both of Ripon, and Dennis Page of Berlin, great aunts; Irene Muskavitch and Vernice Brink, great uncle; Roman Muskavitch, grandparents; Ervin Schmidt and Marilyn Page Schmidt of Fox Lake, as well as step uncles; Rick (Sue) Schmidt, Bill (Joan) Schmidt, and Dan Schmidt, and step aunts; Pam (Jeff) Wickman and Deb (Dave) Posthuma. Zackary was preceded in death by his grandparents; Raymond and Ruby Muskavitch, uncles; Donald Muskavitch and Tom Douglas, cousin; James Page, aunt; Janice Page Beier, and grandfather, Marland Page.
Visitation for Zackary Page Muskavitch will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, and again on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon.
Funeral Service for Zackary Page Muskavitch will be held on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon with Reverend Paul W. Nulton officiating. Family private burial will follow at a later date at Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery in the Town of Metomen.
Zackary loved Ingalls Field, and had planned to help with the installation of the new artificial turf. Be it known that Zackarys final contribution was that of the donation of his organs and tissues, so that they could be used to help others.
